I think most nursery use ferterlizer on their neps. When i was in cameron highland, saw the bangla worker there put in slow release pellet fert into the neps pot. They told me to put 2-3 pellet per xl size plant once every 2 week. I had yet to try but intent to do some experiment with my common nep to find out whether that's true.
