As I promised to 'Tan Sri' Tarence to give a simple idea how I built my automatic waterign system for my garden.

My garden area : 8 feet W X 12 feet L X 7 feet H

Pump : I used 1 horse power that cost me at rm115. The power os your pump must be compatible with your garden area.

Tank : Used recycle shampo tank about 20 gallon volume.Cost me at rm25.

Digital Timer : I used digital bcoz the minimum setting time is 1 minute and cost at rm49.90. Tesco or Giant. Analog 15 min - too long for watering process, not suit for orchids.

Nozzle : The quantity depend on your garden area and your pump. The quality of spray depend on your pump power.

Float ball : Used to auto OFF the water filling process in the tank. Manipulated toilet tank water level system

Alternative : If your home water pressure from SYABAS ( in Selangor) is high, you can save the cost of pump by replace it with solenoid valve. The valve that control water flow out of washing machine system. Cost you around rm25.

You also can use this valve if just need to set up auto dripping system.
