« Reply #5 on 26 Apr, 2007, 1:13 »Hello all,

Ive got lots and lots of these coming up: well over 10, so I think I might have beaten you all

My method of germinating them was to fill up a pot where they will be parmenently growin with 1:1 peat, sand, put it in a very sunny place(about full sun) plenty of water(water tray always full) and a clear, re-sealable plastic bag over the pot to aid humidity, as this helps germination. It takes them around 4 weeks or more to germinate.

After about 5 weeks or so(or after you are satisfied with the amount that has germinated) cut a hole in the plastic bag. Over the next week, gradually roll it down and after about 5 or so days, remove the bag completely. Mine are still very small: I remoevd the baga round a week or so ago, but Ive still got a few more coming up. Soon I will be thinning out until Ive only got around 8 or so plants.

I hope that some of you find this useful!

Dino
