« Reply #1 on Dec 7, 2007, 12:08pm » I always like a maxima with different colors. I hope that peristome stays that olive drab coloration. The "m's" seem to be larger than the "k's" from what I have been seeing.

Now breed this with lighter colored peristome veitchii's, or even pink or other lighter colored peristomed species-hybrids could unleash some interesting hybrids with maxima spots and a brighter colored peristome. Imagine a pink mottled N. Tiveyi!
