Default Bulbophyllum lindleyanum

This plant is a gift from a friend and my first orchid in my all-CP balcony.

The flowers are open today!

See the face? BLEH!!! My new avatar!

That's a cute little orchid you have. How long did it take to flower?

And I do see the face. It's sort of funny-looking.

Nice orchid anyway

That plant does have a very unique flower and bulbose base Cindy. Haa, haa, the "face" on the flower looks like a guy showing his tounge at you.

My supressed passion for orchids is being encouraged by you Cindy. Hope it doesn't re-emerge soon. SO unique the flower.

Hi Cindy,

Really nice bulbo you got there, any idea where this originated? The flower looks so hairy and the coloration is sooo special. Once you got one, later you will get more

Ed, the species is from Thailand I think. Used to be very rare but during the garden festival the shop had at least 5 plants.

Hi Cindy,

Thanks for the information, I started collecting orchids as well but to only paphiopedilum and bulbophyllum species. Got quite a few, now after saw the one you posted this will definitely be in my wish list.
