Default N. truncata (black)

Fauzi (4zeplants) will be offering N. truncata (black) in October 2009. These seedlings are from BE (XS size) and going at RM190.0 per plant. Quite a good price looking at how rare this form is. Check out his website for more info and pictures of the parent plant. I just spoke with him and there are only limited plantlets available. Haa, haa... I have booked one!

The female parent is dark maroon with a very flared peristome (almost black in some areas) and the male parent is dark brown to black in colour. But seeing these are grown from seeds, we may never know how the adult plant or pitchers will look like. That's the interesting part.

Hi everybody,

The full version of the plants can be seen in the Borneo Exotics website
www.borneoexotics.com

According to Rob Cantley, they launched the newsletter last night and got up this morning to a bulging in-box. It will be on first come first serve basis.

With the overwhelming response, the availability of plants will be lower and I might not be able to offer the same price again later. It would at least be arround RM250 later for the same size plant.

Thanks

Fauzi

Hi everybody,

I have just received the confirmation from BE tonight. I will be getting only 20 plants for the 1st batch (schedule delivery mid September 09) and another 10 plants in December. Booking for the item has been closed as the demand far exceed the supply in BE.

Thanks

Fauzi
