I must admit that it is the best book (for now) in keeping carnivorous plants, focusing on CPs other than Neps. However, there is a chapter focusing on Neps, but it is not as comprehensive as Charles Clarke's books. Btw Ding, do take photos of N. Benstonei at Bkt Bakar! After reading it it increased my interest in utricularias though. Now I want some haha. But really in my opinion, if you can only have 1 book on carnivorous plants, get The Savage Garden. It even has a sections at the end of each species chapter that gives a table of the info about how to grow the plants from soil recipes, to light, to terrariums, windowsill, outdoor and bog garden compatibility, and more. When I got my box of presents she hid it at the bottom underneath everything too so I didn't see it at first. Then as I dug through I saw the word Savage and I was so happy~! But she said keep all the plants in 1 area so if she doesn't wanna see them she doesn't have to haha. For example, he says Pinguicula gigantea is the only known Pinguicula with sticky leaves on BOTH sides...it is not. Pinguicula longifolia and certain forms of Pinguicula agnata are also sticky on both sides. But overall it is a very good book and I hope everyone whose got it or gets it really enjoys it. Cheaper than getting it from Kino. http://www.acmamall.com/rethink.books?Se....f606eb525ffdc56 Link to Post - Back to Top 203.121.63.196My very first blog.
