ken, a composition as such should use less sphagnum moss to prevent clogging. Have you tried pouring water continuously to see what is the outcome. If drainage is poor water will be held back on the surface with moss, charcoal, perlite started to float around. small amount cut up sphg.moss like 10% for humidity and to retain moisture will be sufficient.
