ps: saw 1 of the nursery at sg buloh selling platycerium (not bifurcatum) from YG at RM25 each. if u r interested, the nursery is located at the back of the hospital beside those nurseries that sell orchid.

Boon Leng, are you describing the one with only shield frond clasping tightly to the pot with some fingers (or 1/2 fingers) pointing up? THe whole plant have some fine hairs that makes it looks a bit silvery. If yes, that's superbum from originated in North Australia.

Ya, if you are planning to order from Wanna, count me in.

wow... u must hv some kind of superpower.. able to correctly describe the plant in details without seeing it

I only suspect is either grande or superbum, but im no expert.. cant tell the difference

I bought one of them... can you share with us some culture information please? So far, I have not repot it.

YOu can mount it as like what you usually see in fern websites. Get a fern slab and directly attach the plant to the slab with spaghnum moss in between slab and the plant's rootball. I have a feeling that this plant like cool dry enviroment. Previously mine was doing very well during the dry weather but it just simply 'melt' away during our wet weather. Hope it's doing well at your place.

Andy, the plant is single head, and the shield frond is lettuce like, covering the rootball. the branching tips stand outwards like a fountain splashing upwards, hope you get the idea....you think it's superbum?
