Nepenthes seedlings look so neat. Very rewarding...
What type of lighting are you using for you seeds. Is it natural or artificial and if artificial what temp. and output? |

actually my technique just trial and error ![]() 1st time i use spaghnum moss in a transparant chamber..moss of them geriminate, but after i open the lid, one by one, they died. i think because lack of humidity. then i try my own method ![]() fill a pot with cocopeat+burn rice husk, then put in the water tray. sow the seed..and wait.. make sure the tray always fill with water.. the seeds maybe just 50% geriminate. but im quite happy with the result another seedling reinward X thorelli ![]() |

im sure, most people here wonder why i always use cocopeat and burn rice husk.
1. hard to find peatmoss..and quite expensive here 2. why not use spaghnum moss?? easy to find, but still pricy ![]() 3. is easy to get burn rice husk and cocopeat here. so cheap ![]() nepenthes and sarracenia not so picky bout the media. so i use it without any problem. in RM, 1 bag cocopeat not more then RM 12. |
