Hi Daren,

in all cases keeping the media moist ( not wet ) and very well drain were essential for the healthy growth of neps. But if sphagnum moss is too wet in your tank try a higher mix of perlite.

I've grown some raffs from seeds. Only 4 plants of a seedpod came through. They are now >20 cm diameter after 22 months after sowing. I keep them also in a terrarium. 22°C in the night and 28°C day. Strong wind from a ventilator dries the pots fast out. So I have to water them daily. The medium is 2 parts sphag and 1 part perlite and a drainage of pine bark. The pots are 8 cm sqare which seems still enough.

most welcome Daren,

Since you grow them in the tank using a ventilator ( as in Boris case ) will help control the temp and humidity.

do post and update with the progress.

Hi Daren, i dont have any experience growing nepenthes in terrarium. I grow all my nepenthes outdoor.. Actually raff is strong, easy to adapt and grow fast.. For my raff:
1. media: mixture of cocopeat and cocochip
2. they love bright sunlight, less sunlight will make them weak and refused to pitcher.
3. humidity around 60 - 70 %
4. temp: 31-32 C , sometimes 34 C on hot day , 26-28 C at night
5. watering: 2 times a day
hope that can help..
