found these in the golf course pond......what are they?

Looks like U. aurea to me, but there are a number of aquatic Utrics with similar looking yellow flowers.

so, how to differentiates?....my guess is either u. aurea or u. gibba

Just saw this thread. This is U. aurea.

According to Andreas Fleischmann:
U. aurea is the only species that has these kind of spreading calyx lobes in fruit: both lobes are almonst bent horizontal from the capsule.

The fruits of U. aurea from Langkawi. Identical to your plant.
