Not quite as big as N. rajah but it could swallow whole dozens of tiny drosera: Size does matter ![]() There's something eerie about this pitcher, don't you think ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() François. Once in a while you see an unopened pitcher that is as spectacular as any mature one. I always liked this pitcher: ![]() It looked strong and tough even at this stage. It later opened up to this: ![]() Nepenthes ventricosa x (truncata x mindanaoensis) Very nice so far...be sure to post when it's open! I wonder how resistant this species is to highland conditions. I remember reading on another forum, a grower who'd managed to keep this plant alive in UK winter without heating. I'd also second Ludwig's last words! Augustin, I don't know if this species would cope well with highland conditions. Mine grows in full lowland conditions with a lof of light. Oh, just forgot: the pitcher has opened. It is now more than 20 cm long. ![]() ![]() François. « Last Edit: Apr 15, 2008, 6:38am by sockhom »Link to Post - Back to Top ![]() New Member ![]() member is offline ![]() Joined: Apr 2008 Gender: Male ![]() Posts: 15 Location: Northwest New Jersey, (USA) ![]() « Reply #7 on Apr 15, 2008, 1:01am » WOW!
