Hi Vincent....Like i said thorelli is not in cultivation yet...I looked at the photos of some of the indochinease neps in the wild and find this looking abit more like N.Kongkadana...

Anyway bout the rhizome..I thought it was more like a tuber or something...This traits appear normally on these kind of neps...Another example would be N viking..This is to help them survive the drought period they experience in the wild

(correct me if im wrong)
