If leaf is always laying flat at the media, it suppose is D. spatulatha.

Dear caseyhoo,

Yes. The plants was repoted on last week but the leaf was always laying flat at the media before repoted.

This is why I notice that it was different with my D.intermedia 'cuba'.

Left : D. spatulata Right: D. tokaiensis

D. tokaiensis is a polyploid form of D. x tokaiensis (D. rotundifolia x D. spatulata). According to my observation, D. tokaiensis has longer petiole than D. spatulata. I am still searching for the original description of D. tokaiensis.

Looks like D.spatulata to me. I don't know D.tokaiensis personally so allenphoon's opinion could be better than mine.

Many D. spatulata that circulated among CP hobbyist is actually D. tokaiensis. I found that there is different between the flower of both plants. Just found my photos which taken 3 years ago.

D. spatulata 'Taipei'

D. tokaiensis

To solve the confusion among D. spatulata and D. tokaiensis, I am collecting D. spatulata from various location to compare. Will let you guy know the result once I collect enough data.
