Hi Dadetave,
Your cephs are amazing. 6.5cm is huge, the biggest ones we got from our local nursery was only about 3cm at most. so this is a greenhouse with a chiller & it`s own internal lighting ? does fresh air circulate ? |

Hi Tarence, thanks for your compliments! Yes, these pitchers are so big because this isn't a typical cephalotus, this is a "Dudley Watts" clone, well known for its dimensions, I hope that in the next spring they reach dimensions of 8 cm. At the moment these plants grow under a CFL lamp with 6400°K for at least 11 hours/day. Yes, fresh air can circulate free, temperature is in the range 10/22°C (but will decrease during the next three months to 5/12°C....... and the humidity level permanently is about 70/75% |

Dadetave,
I have to fish out my ruler to see how long 8cm is. Wow! Yeah i know abt the larger ceph clones but I`ve never tried coz even the normal ones don`t exactly flourish here. ![]() tropical climate + cephs aren`t good buddies. heheh. how do you get fresh air to circulate ? there isn`t a door to the chiller ? |
