Default my mini cold chamber

This is only a trial, where i kept my intermediate and H/L neps, and seeds. Run by a blower at every 45 mins for 15 mins with aid of timer, 2 blocks of ice, floor were laid with wet sphagnum moss. The cover was slightly open to let air in/out, reinforce with wire mesh. The transparent plastic sheet allow for filtered light.

The poly box was left in the open. No ice was added during the day till 7.00pm, though sometimes i missed placing it for 1-2 days.

Nice... now the question is to see how "sustainable" is it to run this setup for long term... Thanks for sharing.

placing 1-2 block of ice is not a peoblem, The real problem was when the plants outgrow the chamber.

misting the inner wall of the box and keeping the base of sphagnum moss wet will maintain high humidity.

yes,it goes to low 53%. One way to ensure high humidity, besides misting the inside, was to cut out a hole 3.5" x 3.5" behind the blower to suck in fresh air.
