Hi guys,
I can't really share my growing experience for x Lady Pauline and maxima x fusca coz I don't grow them... yet.
For viking, what Fauzi and Ali said true but to a certain extent. If the pitcher is hidden from direct sunlight, it'll produce a nice red coloration but if the plants is not getting enough sun, the pitcher shape will be slightly enlongated, not as round as what many of you have seen in the web. You need to strike a balance of these 2 factors to really get some nice looking viking's picther. BTW, viking can take full sun.
For albomarginata, they like their media on a drier side, so you don't have to water it everyday (depending on what media you use). They also can handle full sun, but if you just got it from Fauzi, I suggest you slowly introduce it to full sunlight if you wish to do that.
Hope that helps.

Hi CPnut
So well since u said if there is not enough sunlight then if i'm not wrong you mean by bright shade??? Or partial shade???? My N viking now is under bright shade(shaded by giant miranda leaves) and sometimes during the peak afternoon is direct sunlight or partial shade.....but only for max 2 hours. The viking i have now has 1 reddish pitcher and 1 developing one which looks pale even when i bought it........Maybe it will colour up once it opens...
My albomariginata now i hang at the edges of edges of the balcony trying to get as much direct sunlight as possible but for this month or so it will be hard since its always cloudy and raining so hardly any direct sunlight.Well just for info when i said edges of the balcony means that bar which doesn't let you fall....I put it in the middle to catch a little of morning more on afternoon and a little on the evening sunlight....
